A rainstorm packing winds of up to 60 mph hit Douglas County this past Sunday uprooting trees, downing power lines and leaving thousands without electricity.

Lord of the jungle (and tug of war)
In February, Wildlife Safari in Winston held a demonstration of an ongoing event they will feature this summer, tug of war with an Africa Lion.
