A candle lights the way
About 100 people participated in a candlelight vigil on the steps of the Douglas County Courthouse to remember homeless community members who have died in recent years.

A hard rain falling
Although spared of the snowfall that seemed to hit the rest of the Pacific Northwest, Douglas County did see quite a bit of rain in the past week. Especially hard hit was the town of Drain which saw Elk Creek swell and crest it's banks.
